Early sportsmen and women who wrote the first Welsh springer standards understood the value of a hardy flushing dog -- a dog that could hunt all day long in the toughest conditions, yet remain merry and good natured. |

Now there is a video to help bring
the words of the standard to life! Even if you have never hunted or
shown a Welsh springer, you'll come away with a better appreciation of how
the breed's unique proportions, structure, and type work in the field and
in the ring.
The Working Welshman was written and produced by long-time breeders of dual-purpose Welsh springers and was professionally filmed and edited. Each person involved with the making of this video donated his or her expertise, time, and effort for the love of working dogs. Dogwood Welsh Springer Spaniel Club offers The Working Welshman as a service to the breed. Your payment goes toward offsetting some of the professional production costs involved in making the film. | |
